Ines Joins Wells Fargo Thrive Summit to Support Small Businesses
Mar 11, 2026Founded in 1852, Wells Fargo is one of the largest financial institutions in the United States and a major player in the global banking industry. The company serves more than 70 million customers worldwide and operates thousands of branches across the country. Known for its long history in financial services, community development, and support for small businesses, Wells Fargo continues to invest in programs that strengthen local economies and help entrepreneurs access the tools they need to grow.
The Wells Fargo Build to Thrive Summit welcomed small business owners, ecosystem partners, and local leaders to Pasadena on November 14, 2025. The Summit is part of Wells Fargo’s commitment to strengthening small business resilience, especially for entrepreneurs affected by the 2025 wildfires. Hosted at Hotel Dena, the event brought together organizations dedicated to helping business owners access capital, technical assistance, and long-term support.

The Summit was organized in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), Together for LA, LAEDC, and several regional partners. Their shared goal was to provide tools and connections that help businesses adapt, recover, and grow. The DEO also took part in a panel led by Assistant Director Leila Lee, who discussed ways to build a more resilient small business ecosystem in Los Angeles County.

As part of this effort, Ines was invited by Daniel Wada of Pacific Community Ventures (PCV) to contribute her expertise in two key ways. First, PCV asked her to host a webinar on how small business owners can prepare and market for the holiday season. The webinar focused on practical strategies that entrepreneurs could apply immediately to increase visibility, strengthen outreach, and boost year-end revenue.
Second, Ines joined the Summit as a Technical Assistance Mentor. Throughout the day, she held one-on-one advising sessions designed to give tailored guidance to local business owners. These sessions ran from 8:00 AM to 2:15 PM, with entrepreneurs signing up at registration to speak with her directly. Each conversation focused on the attendee’s top goals and challenges, allowing Ines to provide clear, actionable next steps.

Her advice ranged from improving online presence to clarifying messaging and refining outreach strategies. Many participants expressed appreciation for her supportive approach and practical recommendations. Several noted how helpful it was to speak with someone who understands both digital marketing and the realities of growing a small business during uncertain times.
The atmosphere at the Summit was energetic and collaborative. Ines connected with capital providers, community leaders, and ecosystem builders who are working together to support local entrepreneurs. The event highlighted the resilience of Los Angeles’s business community and the importance of equipping business owners with tools that empower them to thrive.
